When Cosmic Cultures Meet) based on the teachings of The Keys, a more humane working relationship between science and religion and the diverse cultural and ethnic components of the human race throughout the
first decade of the 21st Century is detailed. Q. Why was this teaching given to us at this time?
A.
This teaching has been given so that we may overcome negativities and assist in the ushering in of a positive transition, through personal responsibility and growth, beyond the fires of conflict and grief and in preparation for a unique Cosmic Plan for all people! Yet, as useful a guide as
The Keys of Enoch® may be, as many spiritual teachers in other traditions have also explained, the teachings must coincide with a person own spiritual journey, which is ultimately the
pursuit of a direct personal experience of the Divine. The Keys help to lead you to the threshold of discovery. Beyond that threshold, you must pursue the direct experience.
Q. Why are
The Keys of Enoch® written in what has been called impenetrable language and a densely written, enigmatic, highly symbolic style?
A. The advantage of writing in a
style that is foreign to most readers is the opportunity to convey higher forms of meaning that lie beyond the range of the familiar. The greater plan of Unity permeates this style as symbols of consciousness and
religion on a higher plane of language experience, for in ordinary speech and syntax, the human mind is not capable of participating in the many higher symbolic languages coming from Divine Mind (non capax infiniti)
. The Keys are thus written as a meta-language (symbolic code) and are not to be taken as literal rational discourse, but as upra-rational discourse. In the last thirty years the
Enochian meta-language and sacred expressions have been seen as the parent vocabulary for experimental work in new scientific directions (e.g. zero-point energy relationships, Key 302) and genetic research (e.g.
God-code relationships, Key 202).
Q. The Keys speak about Israel. How are we to understand that term, and what about other ethnicities?
A. The credo of
The Keys of Enoch® is a Scientific-Spiritual Vision of a Divinity, as well as a Pluralistic Hierarchy that embraces all Radiations of Divine Teaching of Wisdom and Compassion (See
Prologue). The word Israel in “God loves His people Israel” for example, is used to denote a collective through whom the Divine Plan is realized by each one’s conscious and continual connecting to, and being
a vehicle of, the Divine Presence, not any particular ethnic or socio-political group (future, current or past). “Israel” represents ANYONE who contends with God until victory or until the ability to be blessed by
the Divine is achieved. There is no singling out of any specific race or any one ethnic or religious group. The term “Israel” is to be seen as a pluralistic experience, as revealed in the pictures of religious
symbols throughout the text. This is the experience of the righteous one from all denominations on planet Earth called into service to the Living God.
Q. What can we infer from the term “Christ race”?
A. The word “Christ” precedes the historical Jesus of Nazareth. (The woman said to Him, “know that Messiah comes, who is called Christ: when he is come, he shall tell us all things”.
Jesus said to her, “I who speaks to you am He”. - John 4:25, 26). The word “Christ” is Greek for “anointed”. The term “Christ-race” is used as a meta-language statement for self-realized, awakened humanity
carrying the compassion of Christ (Christopheroi
or Christ-bearers, or the anointed ones) and working pluralistically in Divine Love for the raising of consciousness, acknowledging all mystical traditions including those existing over three millennia before Jesus was born.
The Keys of Enoch®
is written in a non-dualistic language that conveys the many faces of the Divine in all things, including human nature that is co-evolutionary and co-creative and is, according to The Keys, doomed to
perfection In other words, man and woman are destined to be Christ-like, Krishna-like, Buddha-like, Al-Mutakabbir-like, as expressions of union with God, among many others. Paramhansa Yogananda makes a parallel
between the names Christ and Krishna. The use of the term “Christ race” should never be regarded as a dualistic language that expresses separation.
In addition to Christ, there is an emphasis on the name
Melchizedek which is used in both Judaic and Christian traditions. Moreover, with the calling of the Order of Melchizedek (New Testament book of Hebrews) there is a teleological understanding of the reality
that the spiritual family on earth is created for the experience of the many worlds and realities to come.
Q. How is the message of The Keys of Enoch®
reflected regarding the various religions such as Islam?
A. Enoch, known as Idris, is an important prophet in the Islamic culture, and the higher message of Islam is reflected in several
passages of The Keys, from the beginning of the Prologue to the end of the Glossary (see Umma) . However, the recognition of the contention we all face in trying to harmonize the religions of
the Middle East is also acknowledged. The Keys of Enoch® additionally speak of the Sufi teachings as part of the teachings of Light, especially in the context of The Keys as musical keys
of knowledge for the soul. The renowned Sufi author and theologian Al Qushayn writes that although music is forbidden for the masses, so they may preserve their souls...it is recommended for our companions (the
Sufis) so they may enliven their hearts. It is in the larger teaching of the celestial songs that the Chalice of Life and the Dove of the Divine Spirit come to rest on the back of the serpent in the heavens (see
illustration, Key 206, page 229 in The Keys of Enoch®, including the Arabic inscription). This image shows the understanding of continual life in the higher worlds of existence
beyond the fierce beings of death and destruction that appear when beings cannot share the Chalice of Life.
Q. How about Hinduism, and Tibetan Buddhism?
A.
The ancient Sanskrit language is acknowledged as revealing expressions of sacred sound. Hinduism utilizes these sounds or syllables, called bija or seed syllables, which are literally holograms of vibrating information. The seed syllables are strung together like genes on a strand of DNA to form powerful chants called mantras. The Bija themselves or example,
Om, Aim, Hrim, or Glim have no external meaning, but are interspersed with spiritual intentions and actual words, as we find in the affirmation Om Aim Hrim Shim Glim Glaum Ham,
or in the use of the names of the Divine Mother, or even in the image of the cow-girl who transits the lower material world of destruction and sees how all the human distinctions and passions are schooled for
co-creation in the new worlds (Key 109). These sacred expressions continue with the Tibetan language, and their explanation of the Buddhist hierarchies coincides with the teaching of The Keys
(Key 313), for the initiate will pass through the lower worlds and remain at all times consubstantiated with the divinity to see through the material veils of life.
Q. According to The Keys of Enoch
®, what connections are there with other religious beliefs?
A. The Keys
speak of the special endowments given Christianity, acknowledged through the original teachings of those like Joseph Smith, who understood the deeper mysteries of Egypt and sought to reveal the eternal friendship between the original Christianity and Judaism, in understanding the work of the Patriarchal Joseph in Egypt.
Q. What examples can we find of inter-faith harmony in The Keys of Enoch®?
A.
There are several passages showing all major religions in unity, and the entire text of The Keys of Enoch® incorporates symbols that have been used in all cultures and all religions. Plate 18 of
The Keys, for example, shows children among the symbolism of many faiths, representing all world religions and cultures. Plate 7 illustrates communities of the future that will be pluralistic and even in remote
areas will include Christian, Hindu and Islamic structures side-by-side in inter-faith harmony.
Q. What is the significance of the Woman and where is she in The Keys of Enoch
®?
A. The very first illustration of The Keys (Plate One), shows the pyramid over the Scroll of Esther
(Heb./Greek: for the stars, the female principle which is used as the crowning knowledge that opens the pyramid in connection with the Divine Name hidden within the Scroll. The female understanding from the stars, the heavens and the higher dimensions is, in turn, also seen in the later illustrations as the Virgin who stands with the children of all religions and cultures of the world (Plate 18). Returning to Plate 17, we find the Family of Yahweh (the Divine) which has at the very center the image of a woman who exemplifies the women of the world and the inner scribe nature of spiritual writing of unity between all sons and daughters of God connected with the angelic form of Yophiel. In Plate 10 we encounter the Divine Mother (or one who could be called
Quan-yin) also holds the world and all the cycles of testing in her hands in the Biological Wheel of Life. A careful reading of The Keys
by the reader who transcends vocabulary rendered as simply male or female speech will show that each of the major Plates is connected with the symbols of the feminine aspect of the Godhead working together with the male aspect of the Godhead. The she that is operating in the Shekinah (Divine Presence) is also present in every Key, speaking to the reader who is pursuing both a mental and a spiritual rebirth.
Q. What is the main message of The Keys of Enoch® regarding different belief systems?
A. It is the larger picture of the Keys
as a positive Love Letter of God working in all dimensions of the human family.
Q. What is the best way to learn to study The Keys of Enoch®?
A. Start with the vocabulary and use the
